I hold a Master's of Science in Mental Health Counseling as well as being Licensed Mental Health counselor in the state of Florida. I have specialty training in adoption competency and Trauma focused-CBT. Since 2010 I have worked with a variety of individuals, of all ages, in setting such as juvenile detention centers, public and private schools, community mental health centers and private practice settings. My goal in all settings is to create a safe environment to focus on clients needs. What is your approach to therapy? I use a client centered ,solution focused approach to meet individuals where they are at in their life journey and help guide you along the path of your choice.We all encounter events and/or situations in our life when we cannot come up with a solution or answer to our issues, we wonder how we arrived at this place in our life. Don't struggle in silence, take care of yourself and reach out. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? After our first session you can expect to have a better understanding of what you are struggling with and what is in your control to move things in a better direction. I will help you create a clear achievable plan to work on what ever you are having challenges with.
