I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am passionate about helping individuals achieve their mental health goals and find their own strength and autonomy to heal themselves. I have over 20 years of experience and have experience with a large variety of mental heath issues. My approach My approach with clients to hear your story and understand your style of learning and approaching problems utilizing empathy and unconditional positive regard. This helps me know which modality(ies) will best suit for your individual needs. I am Person Centered and Solution Focused and believe in helping you find your sense of autonomy and self determination in order to feel empowerment in solving your issues. My modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, and many more. I take a trauma informed approach to ensure any trauma present is handled with care and compassion. My focus I have worked with variety of clients and conditions including Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Bipolar, Serious Mental illness, PTSD, personality disorders and more. I specialize in working with Mood issues, Relationship issues, Work/Life Stressors, Anger Management, Chronic Pain, Trauma, and Forensic issues. My communication style I have been told by clients i provide a safe, warm and caring environment in which they feel comfortable to open up about what brings them to therapy. They feel empowered and encouraged and heard. My journey to mental healthcare I have been doing this work for over 20 years. Majority of this has been working with a forensic population with a multitude of issues from mild adjustment to severe mental illness including behavioral components. I love the challenge as well as watching the individual grow and heal. I love watching individuals find their empowerment.
