Hello my name is Melanie and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. My professional background first began in education over 17 years ago. I have served as a school counselor for the past 7 years and have worked closely with children and their families. I have helped them navigate life as they face grief/loss of loved ones, divorce, trauma, self esteem and anxiety. I have a passion for helping people find their strength to face any situation that comes their way. I use a person-centered and solution-focused approach. Mindfulness is also a tool I use to help clients live a more balanced life.
