About
One of my favorite mantras is "Grow through what you go through". We all face challenges as we navigate life, and I want you to remember that you CAN get through any adversity you face. You do not have to embark on this journey alone. I like to partner with my clients to create an atmosphere of empathy, trust, and safety. My empathic, supportive, non-judgmental approach provides a personalized plan to help you navigate through life to support you in self-development, finding purpose, experiencing personal growth, and empowerment in your life. I believe in providing a safe space for individuals and couples, to be honest, and truthful with themselves while exploring and processing the feelings that surface along the way. By identifying your strengths, setting goals, and applying coping mechanisms, you can free yourself from what is holding you back from your best self. I believe that each person is unique and there is not a one size fits all approach in therapy. I incorporate several evidence-based therapies inclusive but not limited to Person-Centered, Strengths Based, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Faith-Based Therapy that are best suited for my client’s unique needs. My background is working with individuals experiencing severe mental health disorders, depression, anxiety, OCD, stress, frustration/anger management, domestic violence, self-esteem, grief, problem-solving, crisis intervention, suicidal ideation, and co-occurring disorders and medical issues. I have experience working with diverse populations including young, middle-aged, and older adults who have experienced personal and interpersonal challenges. I am a problem solver by nature, and I consider myself to be purposeful for people. It would be an honor to engage and learn about your unique story and support you on your journey of growth, healing, and peace.
