Dr. Melanie D. Styles is a native of Albany, New York and is the oldest daughter of six children born to Dr. Betty Gilmore and the late Earlie Gilmore Sr. Dr. Styles holds her Master’s in Community Counseling, a Doctorate in Educational Psychology and is Licensed in the State of N.Y as a Mental Health Counselor. Dr. Styles has served for over 20 years in multiple capacities in the Mental Health field including; Foster Care Program Director, Case Manager and Senior Therapist. Dr. Styles currently serves on the board of multiple community initiatives as well as religious boards as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist. Dr. Styles is the founder of Step by Step Mental Health Counseling; PLLC, where she provides outpatient therapeutic counseling services for individuals and families. Dr. Styles is married to the Honorable Bishop Mose L. Styles III and to their union one biological daughter, Melodi-Melina A’veah Styles and loving the same, their two adopted daughter’s, Alexandra Styles and Jasslyn Gilmore.
