I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut with over 10 years of experience in clinical practice as a psychotherapist. In developing a therapeutic relationship with you, I aim to create a healthy and safe environment to explore and understand the behavior, thought patterns, and feelings that are a source of concern for you. Together, we will develop an individualized wellness plan that is goal-oriented, motivating, and empowering to create a path to healing and a balanced mind and body.
I take an eclectic treatment approach that may draw upon traditional psychodynamic therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), etc. I will collaborate with you to develop the tools you need to gain the necessary insights, to manage painful emotions, to address behaviors that may be self-defeating and to gain self confidence so that you can achieve a more fulfilling life.
