My name is Meghan Murchison I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Houston, Texas. I received my undergraduate degree from Prairie View A&M and my graduate degree from Lamar University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. I have experience working with children,teens, adults, couples and families. Mental health is not only my career choice, it is also my passion. I believe that there is no cookie cutter way to approach all clients. I use an eclectic approach by utilizing multiple theoretical approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. I have experience working with psychosis, intellectual disabilities, children and families, and domestic violence.

I understand that everyday life can be overwhelming and that it is important to find someone who is unbiased and can assist you in organizing and processing your thoughts. Stressors are just part of being a human being. I am committed to assisting clients in living their best lives and working towards healing.
