Meghan Ware, LPC, received her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders from Northern Illinois University and a Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. Meghan is skilled in finding the right tools to empower each client. She takes a client-centered approach, while also empowering the client to challenge themselves. She believes in the importance of building rapport using empathy and compassion to reach clients of all ages. Her approach to therapy is based on the client’s needs and helping each client through their personal journey. Meghan utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based therapy. Meghan has experience working in a psychiatric hospital setting where she works with a multitude of clients to identify and express their emotions in a healthy manner teaching them various coping skills. Meghan specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults suffering from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and those having a hard time finding themselves.
