Hi! I have over ten years of experience working in varied settings with clients from diverse backgrounds and I have extensive knowledge of psychodynamic therapy techniques, as well as formal training in DBT, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing. I have also completed a certification in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder and am passionate about promoting the inclusion of neurodiverse individuals in all facets of life, as well as supporting neurodiverse families. I appreciate the benefits of neuropsychologically informed treatment modalities, such as EMDR, and I have found psychoeducation related to structures of the brain, particularly those most impacted by trauma, to be a source of both hope and empowerment to clients. I believe trust and empathic listening are the elements of therapy most predictive of successful outcomes and I pride myself on giving clients a space where they can truly feel heard.
