I know what it's like to be a little kid with big feelings and not know what to do with them. I believe all kiddos deserve to have their thoughts and feelings heard, even if the ways they are telling us about them are difficult, messy, dangerous, regressive, or confusing. Especially if these big feelings get in the way of our ability to learn at school, make friends, have fun with our family, and feel okay. I know that we are all learning how to talk about these things still, so I use music, play, mindfulness, and the body to find different ways to express the thoughts in our head, the sensations in our body, and the needs in our important relationships.
