I understand that change can be scary and asking for help is not always easy. Usually with a little more insight, we can learn to see our personal problems as opportunities to grow, so that we can move forward with more confidence. At times we may just need someone to listen and offer reassurance. Other times, we may be looking for the right tools to create change and healing on a deeper level.
I am a compassionate licensed Mental Health Counselor who offers a decade of experience in counseling with expertise in wellness, mental and emotional health, and mindfulness.
I received an MS in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University three years ago, but my love for health is what brought me to the counseling industry over ten years ago, as a board certified health and nutrition coach.
I offer a strength-based holistic approach, and often incorporate mindfulness to awaken the embodied energy of the self to create change and healing on a deeper level. Modalities used are infused from Positive Psychology, CBT, DBT. My speciality is helping clients shift their thoughts, emotions, and habits that keep them conditioned to the past, causing internal conflict and stress. With the right tools, you too can create the awareness and momentum you need to succeed in the present and the future, by breaking through the patterns that keep you stuck. I am here to help you conquer your challenges with practical and transformational solutions.
When I'm not counseling, I enjoy teaching Kundalini Yoga and meditation in various yoga studios, treatment centers, and privately. I have also created various workshops on stress management, self-esteem, and anxiety in which I incorporate somatic therapy and meditation in a group format.
