About

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor. I graduated from the University of Akron in the marriage and family therapy program and have worked with individual adults and children, couples, and families. I have experience counseling clients with mental health and alcohol and drug related concerns utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solution focused (SFT), and trauma sensitive interventions, among others.

I want to help my clients genuinely love and understand themselves. I have found that observing the connection of how thoughts and feelings can influence our own actions is an effective tool to create significant changes in daily living. Observing how we act rather than judging our lifestyle is the first step in true self love.
