*I work with adults and couples: ages 18 and up* I am a culturally competent therapist with experience working with various populations, including the LGBTQ community, veterans and clients struggling with chronic, serious, or life-threatening illnesses as well as serious mental health issues. I am licensed in California and Arizona. I graduated from Eastern Connecticut States University and double majored with a Bachelor's in Social Work, Sociology and minor is psychology. I then Fordham University in New York with a Master's in Social Work and currently pursuing my Doctorate in Social Work at the University of Southern California. I have been a social worker in the medical field for 11 years - most notably in Palliative Care (8 out of the 11 years). I have been private practice therapist for the last 5 years seeing individuals and couples. Through a collaborative process, I want to work alongside you to help address the underlying causes of problematic behaviors, beliefs, and feelings. By utilizing various therapy techniques, I work to increase patients confidence, personal strengths, self esteem, resilience, as well as strengthen their relationships. I believe in treating every individual with respect, sensitivity, and compassion while building a strong trustworthy rapport.
