Hello, my name is Dr. Mechelle Jungsten; thank you for reading my profile. It is my belief we can always learn from each other. You have an untapped amount of strength and wisdom. It is my job to help you uncover your potential so you can begin to walk in your truth. Only then will you truly be able to become your best self. We all have a vision of who we want to be. We get stuck in faulty thinking patterns that lead us to be emotionally unbalanced and this leads to depression, anxiety, and sabotaging behaviors such as overeating, substance abuse, and other disruptive behaviors. I am here to tell you there is hope in getting unstuck from these unhealthy patterns. I have experience working with individuals and couples. I enjoy working with individuals concerning relationships, goal setting, negative behaviors, thinking, and core beliefs. I specialize in mind and body integrative care. My unique style of practice is made up of cognitive-behavioral interventions that focus on the solution rather than the problem and get you to recognize negative thinking that influences your behavior. My vast experience and education have enabled me to combine interventions that will give you that relief that you have been longing to experience. I know when we feel hopeless, everything appears dark. We begin to believe this is our “fate” in life; this is a lie that we tell ourselves. At this point, we no longer have perspective and we need to reach out and ask for help. Take the first step and allow me to be that pillar of support toward your healing.
