My name is Meagan Sedley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been working as a social worker in the greater Shasta County area for more than 10 years and have worked in an array of settings. I am committed to supporting people as they become the best versions of themselves and I always strive to assist people in navigating life with resilience, hope, and courage. Resilience can be described as a process, and an outcome, of successfully adapting to difficulties or challenging life experiences. As a clinical social worker, it is my goal to support people as they learn to navigate these hard situations, withstand adversity, and come through difficult life events with renewed strength and optimism.

My approach with all clients is compassionate, collaborative, and inclusive. I specialize in working with those who have experienced trauma, and complex trauma, are combating depression, anxiety, PTSD, discrimination, and exclusion, are dealing with addiction, sexual preoccupation, and personality disorders. I am passionate about working with transitional-age youth (16-24) who are navigating significant life changes, members of the LGBTQ community, formerly incarcerated individuals, and trafficked persons.

My office will always be a safe space where you will be supported and reminded that you can heal and I am here to walk through this journey of healing, with you.
