McKenzy earned her undergraduate degree in African American Studies from Lake Forest College in 2018. She'd later earn a dual Master's Degree from Loyola University Chicago in Social Work and Jurisprudence in Child and Family Law in 2021. McKenzy believes in the continuous pursuit of education and training, through her training and experience she's had the opportunity to work with children and youth, veterans and military, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma. She's passionate about working with individuals of all ages, while supporting and engaging with childrens brings her the most satisfaction. She's also well adept with working with and supporting families in crisis situations. She strives to create an optimal environment for her clients that is safe, trusting, and welcoming. She has a passion for helping clients on their healing journey and believes it is important that everyone is able to chase joy by living a fulfilled life in a way that makes them happy. In her free time, McKenzy enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs, engaging in various creative activities, enjoying a good comedy movie, and exploring new places and cultures.
