My name is Mayte Larios and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a Master's of Social Work from San Jose State University with a concentration in children, youth, and families. My experience primarily is working with children and adolescents but I do also work with adults. I primarily utilize CBT and a strengths-based approach in my work with clients. I work with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, stress, grief and loss, and those having difficulty managing the relationships in their lives. When working with clients, I try to create a safe place in our sessions for vulnerability to take place. I meet clients where they are and prioritize building rapport.
