Hello,
My name is Maureen and most people call me Mo. I currently work at our local Drug Court and am the therapist for the adults in our program.
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who loves to work with a variety of people. I have spent most of my carrier working with individuals struggling with substance abuse and other addictions. I am familiar with working with those who have intergenerational trauma and those who have been in or are currently in the judicial system. I feel fortunate to have worked with this population of clients because it has helped me to get familiar with many areas of concern that bring individuals to therapy.

Many of my past clients have described me as personable, caring, non-judgmental, and motivated to help clients by meeting them where they are at in their lives. When working with clients, the most important goal is to create a positive and trusting relationship. I like the clients to teach me who they are.

I do not have a specific style per say, I try to adapt to the client's needs.
I have worked with mood disorders (anxiety and depression), personality disorders, trauma, grief and loss, relationship concerns, spiritual guidance, clients who are working to gain custody of their children, abuse, and basic daily struggles.
