Hi! I’m Maureen and I love being a Counselor! My style of service is calm and comfortable talk therapy. I believe in mutual respect, being real, showing compassion, and having unconditional positive regard for everyone. I strive to develop a strong and healthy working relationship with my client.

I am a counselor and instructor in the Counseling and Student Development division at a Community College, and I also teach for a University in the Early Childhood Studies and Psychology programs. I’ve been with both for over 16 years. I previously worked for the Head Start and Early Head Start Programs for 25 years. I get to work with so many interesting people from teenagers through older adults on a regular basis!
I have a Master of Arts in Counseling degree and a Master of Science in Human Services degree with a specialization in Social Work and Community Services, and a Post-Graduate Certification in Diversity Studies. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

I have three grown offspring, four perfect grandkids and my own little herd of wiener dogs.
I enjoy mass quantities of Disney and superhero movies whenever I’m able to hide away in my Batcave for a little while.
