Hello, I am Mattie Nogaye! I'm a licensed Clinical Social Worker with 45 years of experience providing individual, group, and couples counseling to clients in need. I earned my Bachelors in Special Education from the University of Michigan and my Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan I've worked in a variety of clinical settings throughout the life of my career. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of the interpersonal and the intrapersonal relationship. I have experience leading clients through grief, depression, anxiety, health issues, marital issues, aging and other life changing matters. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side in overcome traumas, and barriers interfering with personal change. I specialize in addressing anxiety and depression. I am fully committed to hearing you and offering my best professional practices to help you. I am a mature, engaging, compassionate person who is intentionally focused on my work as a clinician.
