Some of our deepest emotional wounds come from difficult or dysfunctional relationships in early life. But just as relationships can hurt, so can they heal. Therapy is a place to heal these early wounds and develop the skills to form more satisfying relationships. As a therapist, I am active, engaged, accepting, and compassionate. I recognize that every person is unique–what helps one person does not necessarily work for others. I seek to help people clarify their feelings, values, and goals to make life decisions with open eyes and a clear mind. I draw from cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, family systems, and developmental theories to develop an approach uniquely suited to each person and each family. I am experienced in treating depression, anxiety, phobias, ADHD, and children’s behavioral problems. I work with individuals, couples, families, and children.
