Hello there! I am Matt Rask and I am a licensed therapist in both North Dakota and Minnesota with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, motivation, low self-esteem, depression, life stressors and transitions, relationship concerns, implementing healthy habits, developing coping skills and many other areas. I am a therapist who uses an "integrated" approach where I use strategies and interventions from several different areas and focus appropriate interventions to my client's needs. Predominately, my approaches comes from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, person-centered approaches and strengths-based approaches. I use many different approaches as every person and their needs are different.

I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. One of my favorite aspects of being a therapist is building a strong therapeutic relationship and rapport with my clients. On a personal note, I am a huge sports fan and I enjoy being outdoors, summer time, spending time with friends and family and traveling. I am pretty easy going and like to go with the flow.
