About

As a counselor with over several years of experience in both public and private practice, I am well versed in working with men, women, and families. I am experienced with issues of depression, anxiety, conflict, and addiction. I enjoy working with people to develop healthy and effective coping skills and strategies and working to improve and develop communication and processing skills with clients through CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy interventions.
I enjoy working with clients to develop and achieve therapeutic goals and I am well suited and experienced to assist with many of life's struggles and uncertainties, especially during these trying times. I have worked directly with clients who are experiencing difficult transitions and conflicts and I have developed a deep and intimate understanding of how these issues continue to impact the entire family system and dynamic. I truly enjoy my work as a counselor and I believe that my ability to create a meaningful and lasting relationship with clients is one of my biggest therapeutic strengths.
I have worked with clients of all demographics and backgrounds throughout my professional career, in both public and private settings. I received my M.S. degree from East Carolina University in 2019 and have provided services for multiple agencies and practices throughout North Carolina.
