Matt is a Licensed Master Social Worker who works with teens (16 and older) and young adults who would like help working on issues related to stress, anxiety, relationships, trauma, depression and life transitions. Matt aims to help clients reach their potential by developing their strengths. He uses a cognitive-behavioral approach to recognize negative thought patterns and develop more helpful perspectives and ways of thinking. He works with clients to develop skills in mindfulness, self care and emotional regulation to better handle the roadblocks they are facing in life. Matt has a passion for getting to know clients as individuals in order to better tailor the therapy experience to their strengths and goals. Matt focuses on creating a safe and comfortable environment where clients can focus on meeting their goals at their own pace.
