About
Matt graduated from Lafayette College with a BS in Civil Engineering and subsequently earned a JD from The University of Richmond, and an MSW from Widener University. After practicing law for over 10 years in a variety of areas including divorce and child custody issues, Matt decided that his passion for resolving conflicts could be better used to help people find solutions for their distress in the mental health field. Matt offers outpatient psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, couples and families who are facing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, anger management, grief and loss and stress management. Matt incorporates a variety of clinical perspectives in working with clients including cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, strength-based and client-centered therapy. Matt also applies his therapy skills along with an understanding of the legal system in offering co-parenting counseling and reunification counseling. Matt has expertise working with children and parents from intact or separated families helping them to learn healthy communication patterns and develop appropriate ways to manage conflict. Matt is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
