I use multiple approaches in my work with clients. These approaches include but are not limited to clients centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, systems theory and mindfulness. In my work I like to provide clients with tools they can use in their day to day lives in order to better cope with whatever is causing them discomfort. I find that this helps the client build a feeling of control and confidence in their ability to manage stress, anxiety, mood instability etc.
I worked extensively with clients who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety or who are going through significant life changes. My goal is to help the client find ways to decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression through being proactive. This involves finding a variety of problem solving and coping skills which can be used in day to day life.
