About

I am licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania and Virginia, with over 10+ years of experience working as a high school and college counselor. I have worked primarily with adolescent clients with a wide range of presenting issues, such as school-related concerns, family problems, relationship issues, stress and anxiety. I have also worked with a number of adult clients regarding problems in the workplace, communication issues, family-related trauma, marital and relationship concerns and addiction problems.

My counseling style is warm, interactive, client-focused and delivered with a little humor here and there, when appropriate. My approach is a combination of humanistic, person-centered and strengths-based counseling. Our conversations are a collaboration, and I will work with you to help you address the concerns that weigh you down, and take your experiences and abilities to help build you up.
