Hi there, I'm Mason! My name is Mason Nutter. I am an LCSW. I center by practice on cognitive behavioral therapy and specialize in treating depression, anxiety and substance use. My approach I center my practice on cognitive behavioral therapy, also using solution focused therapy and strengths based therapy. I am eclectic and open to a number of approaches. My focus I specialize in treating mood disorders, anxiety and substance use. I have also worked with personality disorders and anger management. I support LGBTQ+ clients and have a strong social justice focus. My communication style My sessions are collaborative. I am not the expert in your experience. We will explore together what will work for you as an individual. I am very open and accepting of differences and try to build on your strengths. My journey to therapy I struggled with substance abuse growing up, and learned in therapy how to cope without using. Sobriety and therapy saved my life. I want to be able to bring that hope and possibility to others. My goals for you I explore with you where you want to go, and it is a collaborative process to find how you can get there.
