As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my approach is genuine and sincere. My focus is to help clients recognize and manage emotions, encourage ways to effectively express what they are feeling and introduce fun and effective coping strategies. Throughout my work with adults, teens, and children, it has been essential to communicate empathy as I build trust and teach the cognitive and relaxation skills necessary to help manage depression, grief, episodes of abuse, adjustment, and anger issues. To support the whole family, I attend to parents through couples counseling, and parenting skills to enhance/improve communication. My outpatient experience includes working with adults, children, and teens. I utilize a combination of CBT, Mindfulness Meditation, Sandtray/Play Therapy, and Creative Art Interventions to support clients experiencing mental health issues including, but not limited to, attachment and adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
