About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Mississippi with over 10+years of experience working as a support therapist, counselor, case manager, advocate, and social worker for children and their families in and outside of school system, foster care system, and adoption based services. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, anger management, as well as, social/emotional skills to help build healthy and sustainable relationships.
I have enjoyed my ability to serve clients from all walks of life with Find A Therapist. I appreciate the opportunity it serves in building my skills in my profession as a LCSW, while working to build tools and strategies with my clients that we have identified in session.

My counseling style is engaging and heart felt, with a goal of showing positive regard for each client I work with. I believe in the dignity and worth of a person and the ability for each individual to find strength from within so that they may be their best self. I believe in treating others with respect and being sensitive to a person's thoughts and feelings with a compassionate approach. Through use of cognitive-behavioral therapy, I assist my clientele with identifying thoughts and feelings and how they contribute to their behavioral response in their daily lives in order to help modify issues that may be impacting them in progressing, coping, and/or expressing self in calm and appropriate manner. I will work to meet the specific needs of each client so that they meet their individual goals with therapeutic approach.
