Mary encompasses a holistic approach when identifying and treating patient needs. Mary uses various treatment modalities that focus on a patient's strengths rather than deficits. Her treatment approach as a clinical social worker includes motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, person centered treatment approach. Mary has experience working with patients experiencing anxiety, depression, anger and eating disorders. Mary has previously attended a symposium at Northwestern University on trauma informed care. Mary has also has received training in body image issues and how that pertains to clinical treatment. Mary has over 10 years of clinical experience working with runaway youth, foster care, school and community mental health facilities.
