My name is Mary Vaughan and I am a LMHC for the state of Florida. I am a Military brat and I can't tell you where I am from because I have lived in too many places , but I can tell you I was born in Savannah, Ga. I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for the past 20 years of my practice. I use this technique because I have found ,for me, it to be the best way to guide clients . The client uses their thoughts, feelings,and behaviors all together so that the client can understand how negative thoughts can trap the person in their life. I work with the client to help him/her to reframe their thoughts and recreate healthy replacement thoughts.
