Hello, and welcome to Find A Therapist. My name is Mary Ellen Rievert and I am a psychotherapist with over 15 years working with clients of all backgrounds, ages, beliefs, genders and religions. My experience also includes working in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, medical hospitals and community mental health settings. I believe in a holistic approach to therapy. Taking into consideration what you are feeling mindfully as well as your emotions and physical symptoms. Positive psychology, CBT , DBT and mindfulness are a few of the approaches I use to manage disabling thoughts and enhance positive emotions in people with depression and anxiety disorders as well as those dealing with stress and life changes. I also work with people fighting addictions, dealing with gender identity, eating disorders and obesity. We will work together to find out what is holding you back from living the life you always wanted and set goals for what you would like to achieve. I am eclectic in my work using many different techniques to help each individual feel special, safe and worthy of spending quality time on opening up to becoming the best person they can be.
