I am a masters level licensed professional counselor. I am currently in my PHD program as well. My focus is in counseling Teens and Children and working with their families. I live in Golden, Colorado with my family and have over 18 years of experience in this field. My focus is working with teens, children, and families who are dealing with out of control feelings and to help you understand and gain back a functional level of control. If this sounds like you or your loved one, I can help. I have been in private practice for the past 6 years and own my own wellness center. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including dealing with the effects of divorce, bullying, anger, self-harm, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADHD.

​If your child struggling or they feeling out of control, I can help. If you Is child is struggling in school or in social situations, I can help. As parents, we want what is best for our children. We protect and love them, yet still we may feel like it is not enough. Sometimes we feel like we have lost control and are powerless with our children. We want to help them and maybe we just don't know what to say or where to start.
Let therapy break the cycle of negative and or stuck behaviors. Children and teen act out, rebel, or completely shut down when they are processing through something that is troubling them. In therapy, we start to put the pieces together and learn to control and understand behaviors.

My counseling style is understanding and personable. I believe in treating people like I would like to be treated. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and person-centered therapy.
