Mary Allison Jensen is a licensed clinical social worker, certified trauma specialist, and certified compassion fatigue professional. She primarily works with adults and adolescents. What is your approach to therapy? My clinical background and training includes extensive training in dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.   As a therapist, I believe that it's important to be responsive to my client's goals and intentions for the therapeutic process. I believe in creating an environment that allows you to feel safe enough to explore your own thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behavior. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
