Life can be really hard. When things get tough we all need some extra guidance and support. I understand asking for help takes courage. I strongly believe in meeting my clients where they are; not where others think they should be. I strive to validate my clients' feelings and assist them in gaining insights into their behaviors and choices. I know how important the therapist-client relationship is. Building trust and rapport is essential in order for a client to feel comfortable enough to embark on a journey of change. Creating a judgment-free environment is crucial. I have 30 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked in many settings and with a wide variety of populations. The most rewarding has been working with my clients in my private practice. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and families in schools for the past 27 years. I opened my practice almost 15 years ago and have served a wide variety of clients of all ages and stages in life as well as change. Each client is unique and deserving of having a person who will listen with empathy and provide the support and guidance to assist them in achieving their goals.
