Hi there. My name is Mary McFarland, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. Seeking help for your issues can be intimidating, and I applaud your courage to take that first step. I have had considerable experience working with people facing life struggles such as depression, anxiety, career changes, the loss of a loved one and the grief that follows, as well as working with people struggling with a disability. I have also worked with people who have struggled with suicidal ideations, transgender population, and people who have been abused, and anger management issues.

I initially like to take a person-centered approach to determine what the major issues are you would like to improve in your life. I treat everyone who comes to me with respect and provide an empathetic ear and a non-judgmental platform to tackle life’s biggest challenges. Together as a team, we can set goals to help you achieve a better life. We will take a look at obstacles hindering your progress and find ways to overcome them.
