About

Philosophy and Approach:

My approach to therapy is eclectic, with a strong reliance upon family systems theory, structural therapy, contextual therapy, and narrative therapy. These approaches allow for the delivery of individualized and meaningful services to individuals, couples and families. I’m interested in understanding the multiple variables that impact your life, family and your successes and challenges. Together we chart a course and a plan to achieve your therapeutic goals. I view my role as a facilitator of change. I strive to assist clients meet their goals through promoting self-understanding, assessing relationships, examining communication and behavior patterns, and how these variables interact and influence your life and relationships.

Formal Education and Training: I hold a master’s degree in Family Therapy from Drexel (Hahnemann) University, Located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. In addition, I completed a two-year post graduate training in Structural Family Therapy and Person of the therapist at the Family Therapy Training Program of Philadelphia. I also completed and have certifications in Basic Mediation and Family and Domestic Mediation.

Finally, I have considerable experience working with parents during an after separation and divorce on issues surrounding co-parenting.
