Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to review my biography and for investing in your health and happiness. Life is a wonderful gift and yet for many this gift can seem more like a painful struggle than an experience of fulfillment and joy. Many times, often in our earlier years, we have experienced conflict only to leave us confused, anxious, depressed, alone and filled with self doubt. When these unfortunate events affect us we do not have the tools and experience to deal with them. Self-acceptance can fade into self-doubt and sometimes affect our ability to socialize with others. I am here to tell you that your life story or narrative contains within it the seeds of your own healing and that you can uncover your true self to become the person you were created to be: confident, purposeful and freed from the former conflicts that sapped your life's energy, desires, and internal peace. Our relationships can become meaningful and fulfilling instead of full of contention and heartache. My licensure is as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work. I also have a graduate certificate in counseling with marriages and families. My pastoral counseling degree focused on psychodynamic counseling in context with spirituality. I have a background in biofield therapy and energy medicine which is especially helpful for anxiety and depression and that help to quiet racing thoughts. The Emotional Freedom Technique and EMDR have been effective tools to release anxiety. I have trauma training in supporting traumatized individuals who suffer from PTS. Having received education over several decades in grief counseling, I have worked with those affected by grief and loss which includes working in hospices for nine years.
