Marisela Padilla is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work. She has over five years of experience working in various treatment settings and specializes in working with individuals who have been impacted by trauma. She has experience treating a wide range of clinical issues such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, emotional problems, interpersonal conflict, parenting difficulties, and adjustment issues. Marisela is trained in various treatment modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. She also recognizes the importance of using mindfulness interventions in her work with clients. Through the years Marisela has found her work deeply rewarding and continually strives to meet her clients' varying needs in therapy. She values a collaborative, client-centered approach that focuses on empowering clients so that they can not only alleviate emotional pain but also find meaning and fulfillment in their lives.
