About

My name is Mariola Craver, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. My dedication to the field of Counseling and Mental Health is both proven and strong. I attended the very prestigious Johns Hopkins University, where I earned my master’s degree and I have completed my experience hours for licensure at Mental Health Systems working with youth. I am fully committed and determined to help clients who are facing difficulties in their lives. I have found that with proper assistance, individuals can find a path to their own personal success. I have real world experience in the field of education, mental health, and substance abuse treatment. My qualifications combine strong work values with a solid education and work history as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. My desire to help people with their personal and social needs, as well as mental health needs coupled with what I have learned from working with individuals in different settings and with unique needs makes me a strong therapist. Therapists or Counselors must be positive role models and have a vested interest in people’s success. As a therapist, I have provided counseling to individuals, groups, and families. I have collaborated and assisted client’s in working with and communicating with members of their support network. As a member of a military family and a mother, I have experienced the unique issues military connected individuals, children and their families are faced with each day. Working within the special education sector improved many of my skills, such as different types of communication, patience, and persistence. It is extremely rewarding to know that I am someone with whom clients can identify and build rapport. It would give me great personal and professional satisfaction to be a positive force in helping individuals succeed even during hard and constant transitions.
