Hello! My name is Marilee and I work with a whole range of client issues, such as anxiety and depression, and many others. But one of my primary specialties concerns romantic issues, such as couple's counseling, easing emotional "love shock" due to romantic breakups, and regaining trust after infidelity. I am also a very effective life coach, helping you to pin-point and achieve your most valued goals. I am also a general counselor who works with any specific concerns with which your may be seeking help. I have been a therapist for over 20 years, and in that time, I have utilized a variety of clinical approaches to help my clients. For example, I use an eclectic approach, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered therapy, Narrative, and Talk Therapy. But the names of these theories is not as important as our relationship. In fact. research shows that it is the bond between client and counselor which is the most healing part of the therapy process, Together we will set doable goals and I will do my best to see that you reach them in the shortest time possible, while still working with you however long the process takes.
