About

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

I graduated from Montreal University with a Bachelor in Psychology and then earned my master degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University of Los Angeles in 2015 and have been practicing since then.

In addition to seeing clients in my private practice, I am a District Support Counselor with the Los Angeles Unified School District where I support families in improving social, emotional, home, and community barriers in order to increase engagement and achievement in our students 5-18 years old.

I believe a positive connection between a client and a therapist is imperative for the therapeutic process to be beneficial, which is why I value creating a strong foundation built on collaboration, warmth and empathy. My goal is to create a "brave space" where we can together explore ways of overcoming obstacles that might be holding you back from the life you want and deserve. I consider the role of culture, environment, and relationships to gain a better insight into each client's circumstances and help guide them in achieving healthy, whole and harmonious lives.

I assist people in addressing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and relationships struggles. My approach is based on each individual unique circumstances. I draw from different modalities such humanistic, attachment theory, emotionally focused, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma resiliency, and strength-based to tailor each treatment.

It takes tremendous courage to embark on the journey of personal growth and I consider it an honor to be part of this experience. I look forward to hearing from you!
