I am a native Portuguese speaker with proficiency in Spanish and English, and I have been using these skills to provide counseling services in all three languages. I have been offering psychotherapy services for adolescents, adults, families, and couples. My work is guided by psychoanalytic orientation valuing the ethics of listening and acceptance as a way to assist and access people in their relationships with themselves, with others, and the world. This approach focuses on the unconscious processes and the singularities of each individual. The main intention is to amplify the life potential in each of us, helping us to understand our responsibility in the way we live, work, suffer, and love. This process can be a liberating experience in that it will not try to adapt us to fixed standards. It guides us to cope with our own way of existing, allowing us to say no to the unbearable and sustain our own position/desire in the world.
