Hello! My name is Marianna and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Michigan and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have 7 years of experience in providing counseling, guidance and direct mental health to my clients. I have worked with adolescents and adults of all ages on issues ranging from depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, chronic pain, life changes, relationships, and many more. I have experience across a wide array of settings (community mental health agencies, schools, private practices)– providing, individual, group, and family therapy. I also work with veterans and military families. My counseling style is a holistic approach. I focus on building a trusting and authentic therapeutic relationship, while also creating a judgement free place for clients to navigate their struggles. I strive to meet the client where they are at, and tailor my therapeutic approach based on what will work best in working towards their goals. I often utilize strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
