I believe that the best prediction of a better outcome is to establish strong rapport and team work between the client and the therapist. Once that foundation is laid, the clinician will use one of several therapeutic modalities, depending on the issue at hand. These modalities may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Psychotherapy. An Integrated {holistic} approach can be utilized as well.
As a therapist my experience is being a good listener, caring, sensitive, and energetic. Besides the necessary credentials, I have experience, and also have a lifetime of experience and wisdom to draw from, which is invaluable!
I always wanted to be a therapist for as long as I can remember, and I am happy to have the privilege to do so. :)
