Welcome to my psychotherapy practice. I am a California State licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families to heal and thrive. My training spans a variety of traditional and modern psychotherapeutic modalities including: Somatics, Trauma, Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Positive Psychology, and Transpersonal/Spiritually Oriented approaches to psychotherapy. I fully believe that psychotherapy is not only about overcoming wounds and working through problems and traumas, but about healing, thriving, becoming relationally healthy, vocationally empowered, and fulfilling our highest potential as human beings. I incorporate trauma, somatics. and body-centered approaches to psychotherapy. I believe in a “positive psychology” that supports people in exploring their challenges, but also their gifts. I also specialize in a variety of spiritual issues including: spiritual emergencies, spiritual counseling and transitions, and teachers and communities in crisis. I enjoy working with people from a wide variety of lifestyles, backgrounds, sexual orientations, and spiritual backgrounds, and I am well as being rooted in spiritually-oriented psychologies. Other areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, family counseling, couples counseling, PTSD/trauma, collective trauma and pandemic trauma and related issues, carrier and vocational coaching, parenting, and fertility/pregnancy/birthing.
