About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years experience in providing therapy to families, children, and adolescents. My job is to work with my clients to help them reach their goals in therapy, and to use best practices to help them get there. I have experience is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-focused CBT, and Risk Reduction through Family Therapy. I believe that small changes in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can have big impacts on a person's sense of self-control, self-esteem, and success. My experience has included working with people who have struggled with mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis, self-harm, trauma, and anger management.

My approach is warm and friendly, with a touch of humor when needed. I am on your team, and we are both moving towards your goals. I want you to feel that sense of achievement and acknowledgement that comes from feeling heard and validated for the steps you are making towards living a healthier mental lifestyle.
