Often life throws challenges on top of current daily stressors, these may influence us emotionally, leading us to high stress, anxiety, depression. Sometimes, on top of those challenges, our past affects us in how we think, how we feel, and how we act. In summary, life is overwhelming, there is not only one thing, but multiple causations that leads us to seek help. Talking about it can help, and as a therapist, I want to help with any challenges you are going through. My approach includes a centered-person trauma-informed care with an unconditional positive regard which can provide you a space where you can process and learn to cope in your healing journey. Graduating with a dual masters degree, I specialize in a variety of mental health disorders in adults, as well as substance use disorders. As someone born in Guatemala, I can offer as well a unique multicultural approach, providing services in English and/or Spanish. Reaching out to new providers can cause a lot of anxiety, it can be scary. But I encourage you to reach out, I want to be able to meet you where you are at and help you in any way I can.
