About

I am an LCSW with over 19 years of experience. My experience has varied from working in community mental health, private practice, substance abuse clinics, and with mandated clients. I have also had the privilege of being the clinical director of a school for teens with mental health issues. I have worked with survivors of trauma (physical, sexual, emotional, and interpersonal) and chronic mental health issues. Understanding that everyone who comes to therapy is looking for change is my approach when initiating services with clients. I look for innate strengths in my clients and work to build with them to formulate a cohesive strategy to care. My “big picture” approach is that “best care and best practice start with the relationships that are built-in therapy.”
